Transfer Without Degree (Reverse Transfer)

Students transferring before earning their degree may still be able to graduate from MCC if they have already earned at least 24 credits at MCC and have a 2.0 or above GPA. Below are directions for students on how they can do this.

Instructions for Students

Check with the MCC Admissions Office to make sure the course(s) you take at your next college will fulfill the MCC requirements. Once you complete the coursework at your new school (with a grade of C or higher):

For SUNY Institutions: Submit a reverse transfer request online.

For all other colleges and universities: Complete the Intent to Graduate Application online form:

  1. Go to the MCC website (www.monroecc.edu).
  2. Click on the A to Z Index link.
  3. Go to “I” and select “Intent to Graduate Application.”

Be sure to indicate the month and year you completed the coursework at the other college.

Have your official college transcript sent to MCC.
